Richard Allen Mahoney, 57, of Jacksonville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022. He was born August 27, 1964 in Little Rock to Alice Poe Mahoney Brockway and the late Paul David Mahoney. Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1985 until 1989 as a mechanic. After his service, he worked in construction as a home builder. Richard enjoyed working on old cars and gunsmithing. In addition to his father, Richard was preceded in death by his step-father, Robert Kingsley Brockway.

Mr. Mahoney is survived by his son, Michael Reynolds; grandchildren, Hanna and Kyleigh; siblings, Beverly Hensley, Randy Mahoney and Byron Mahoney and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2022 at King Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
