Rick Stone, 60, of Cabot, Arkansas died Friday, December 10, 2021.  He was born October 19, 1961 in Newport, Arkansas to the late Freddie Vaughn and Georgia Ann Lindsey Stone.

Rick graduated from Northeast High School in North Little Rock in May of 1980.  He went on to serve with the Cabot Police Department from May 1, 1995 to October 31, 2016 for a total of 21.5 years of service.  He served in the Patrol Division and as a School Resource Officer for Cabot Public Schools.

Rick was member of First Baptist Church of Cabot and his hobbies included camping, riding four-wheelers, manicuring his lawn, sitting at his firepit, tinkering, woodworking and spending time with family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Sarah "Katie" Morris and husband Dustin of Cabot; grandchildren, Jordynne and Matthew Morris; grandpups, Ziva and Oakley; his Law Enforcement family along with a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 17, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.  Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday,   December 18, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Greg Hooper officiating.
