TSgt. Robert Lee Cearns, Sr., 63, of Cabot, passed away August 13, 2020 at his home.  He was born September 4, 1956 in Harlingen, Texas to Elvernon Fredrick Cearns I and Leonila Sauceda Cearns.  TSgt. Cearns served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years.  After his retirement from the Air Force, he went to work for the City of Sherwood as an equipment operator, where he was employed for eighteen years.  He enjoyed the outdoors and fishing and loved being around water.  He was a true Dallas Cowboys fan.  He will always be remembered as being loyal to his family.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Allen Cearns.

Survivors include his wife, Celia Shock Cearns; children, Angelina Cearns-Lawson (Andrea Cearns-Lawson), Robert Lee Cearns, Jr., Daniel Michael Cearns (Connie), James Anthony Cearns (Nikki) and William Patrick Cearns (Patricia Maureen); sixteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; siblings, Josephine Coulter, Elvernon Fredrick Cearns II, Debbie Tallon, Thomas Cearns, Diane Scruggs and many extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.  Inurnment will be 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.    Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
