Robert Henry Laxton, 58, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024. He was born August 26, 1966 in West Memphis to the late Edward Earl and Ola Mildred Tomlinson Laxton. Robert served his country in the United States Air Force for 23 years as an information manager and continued serving as a Government Financial Analyst for 13 years. He enjoyed computers and computer gaming. His interests also included nature, travel and cruising but his lifelong passion was genealogy. Robert also enjoyed family gatherings with his children and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Laxton was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Laxton.

Robert is survived by his wife, Lisa Lynne Nelson Laxton; children, Alissa Miller (Mark Wald) of Cabot, Robert Laxton (Melanie) of Altus, Oklahoma, Bradley Laxton of Maysville, Oklahoma, Jessica Laxton (Josh Hall) of Cabot, Brendon Laxton of Cabot and Christopher Laxton of Chester, Virginia; grandchildren, Madeline Laxton, Vivien Laxton, Ethan Laxton, Ryan Laxton, Jayden Wald, Riley Miller, Leah Miller, Brantley Hall, Mason Hall and Hunter Hall and siblings, Rhonda Glassburn (Jeff), Tracy Laxton and Fred Laxton.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 25, 2024 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Burial with military honors will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
