Ruth Louise Weatherford Ray, 73, of Lonoke, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born May 22, 1948 in Princeton, West Virginia to the late Harold W. Weatherford, Sr. and Leenola Muriel Bentley Weatherford.  Ruth was one of nine children.  Around the age of six, she developed a love for sewing and went on to become a certified tailor and master designer of men's and women's clothing.  She was a member of Roberson Memorial Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Danny C. Ray, Jr.; grandson, Danny C. Ray, III; sisters, Amanda L. Brannen and Ruby Pauline Weatherford; brothers, Ronnie Lee, Charles Jewell, Harold "Butch", Ronald and James Weatherford.

Survivors include her sister, Jane Wood; grandchildren, Daran and Corey Ray, the love of her life, granddaughter, Patience Nevaeh Danielle Ray, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
