Sammy Ray Hopkins, Sr., 75, of Ward, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.  He was born February 13, 1947 in Merced, California to Bobby Ray and Charity Hope Davis Hopkins.  Sammy enjoyed crafting, woodwork and working on small engines.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Sammy Hopkins, Jr., his grandson, Jodie (JJ) Ray Carlock, Jr., granddaughter, Emily Mohl and sister, Kasie Gentry.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Michelle Armenta, Saprina Hall, Bobby Hopkins, Misty Carlock and Christy Chrisp; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Standridge, Patricia Turner (Leo), Matti Folsom (WC), Ricky Hopkins (Reba), Jimmy Hopkins and Trini Alexander, as well as many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Central Elementary Cafeteria, 36 Pond St., Cabot, AR.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
