Sandra Rae Wagner, 78, of Cabot, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022. She was born October 14, 1943 in Union, Missouri to the late Leo and Lillietta Nicks Zimmer. Mrs. Wagner was a woman of strong faith and her family was very important. She was a member of St. Jude's the Apostle Catholic Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for a number of years. Education was also important to Mrs. Wagner. She always encouraged her children to continue their education. She did the same and earned her Associates Degree from Arkansas State University in Beebe and her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Central Arkansas. Mrs. Wagner became an elementary school teacher while in her forties and taught for 20 years. She retired from Arnold Drive Elementary School in Jacksonville. After retirement, Mrs. Wagner enjoyed growing African violets. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagner was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Forrest Lloyd Wagner.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by her children, Brian Wagner (Mindy) of Vilonia and Erin Lowrey of Cabot; grandchildren, Caroline Wagner, Cade Wagner, Grace Wagner, Ashley Wagner, Mark Lowrey and Luke Lowrey; brother, Gary Zimmer and nephew, Justin Zimmer, both of Union, Missouri.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., with Rosary starting at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. (501)843-5816.
