Sharolyn "Sherrye"
Ellen Tullos
Sep 26, 1945 — Sep 8, 2025
Sharolyn "Sherrye" Ellen Tullos, 79, of Cabot, went to meet her Lord on Monday, September 8, 2025, where He lovingly and graciously healed her mind and body. She was born September 26, 1945 in Griffithville to the late Herschel and Mary Keathley Alford. Sherrye had many hobbies which included sewing and quilting with her siblings and her mother, sending encouraging cards to people, traveling with her siblings and especially going junkin'. She cared deeply for her kids and grandkids and loved spending time with them. Sherrye cherished having her family around the dinner table on holidays and loved hosting Sunday lunch. Music was an important part of her life and she loved singing with her family, with friends and in the church choir. She was always thinking of others and did not want attention for herself.
Sherrye was raised in a Godly home and enjoyed being "the boss" of her four younger siblings. They will cherish the many fond memories and time spent with her. She became a child of God on January 31, 1967 and was an example to many of following His Word. Her children would find her up early each morning having her time with the Lord and in His Word. She fought hard through her last years with Alzheimer's, but still kept a sweet spirit about her.
Left to cherish her memory and to miss her dearly are her children, Brian Tullos (Melissa) and Kimberly Tullos; their father, Darrell Tullos; seven grandchildren, Hannah Stephens (Rein), Brandon Tullos, Madelyn Tullos, Dakota Tullos, Blakely Tullos, Kylie Herrod and Morgan Swain; two great-grandchildren, Violet Swain and Tatum Swain; siblings, Susan Maxey (Terry), Mary Gibbs (Ricky), Judy Martin (Howard) and Dennis Alford (Kelly), as well as a host of other foster grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, September 12, 2025 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends at Mount Carmel Baptist Church from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday morning with the Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
