Sharron Kay Glaze, 76, of Austin passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born December 22, 1948 in Newport to the late Morris Clifton and Marie Verline Debow Scoggin. After God, Mrs. Glaze loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed every minute with the kids and grandkids. She loved going to all their activities and sporting events. Every holiday was special because her family was all together. She loved Faith Missionary Baptist Church and her church family. Mrs. Glaze was a member of a group of ladies who sewed "Caps of Care" for cancer patients who had lost their hair. She was a friend to many people she didn't know through this program. She later received her own "Cap of Care" as she battled cancer. She enjoyed the outdoors, her flowers and gardening. She loved to travel and had wonderful memories of visiting all 50 states and some other countries with her husband, Rick. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Glaze was preceded in death by her brothers, Glenn and Wayne Scoggin; sisters-in-law, Mary and Carolyn Scoggin and brother-in-law, Carl Palmer.

Mrs. Glaze is survived by her husband and the love of her life, Richard Wayne Glaze; sons, Kip Lynn Glaze (Angela) of Austin and Bryan Keith Glaze (Sonja) of Little Rock; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren and sister, Betty Palmer.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Cabot with Dr. Rich Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
