Shirley Dean Johnson, 85, of Cabot, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Georgetown, Texas.  She was born September 13, 1935 in Lamar, Missouri to the late Howard and Leatha (Peninger) Zinn.  Shirley enjoyed spending time in the outdoors gardening, camping and spent a lot of time at the baseball fields with her family.  She loved the mountains.  More than anything, Shirley loved being with her family.  They were the most important part of her life.  She was also quite the dancer.  In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of forty-three years, Earnest "Ray" Johnson and brother, Harold Howard Zinn.

Survivors include her daughter, Tracy (Gregory) Jackson of Georgetown, Texas; sons, Scott (Karen) Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas, Craig (Teresa) Johnson of Sherwood, Arkansas and Todd (Candy) Johnson of Cabot, Arkansas; ten grandchildren, Travis (Lauren) Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Josh Johnson, Brittany (David) Johnson, Alicia Johnson, Melissa (Simon) Johnson, Daniel (Katie) Jackson, Chelsea (Michael) Mosley, Austin Johnson and Colin Jackson; eleven  great-grandchildren, Houston and Beckett Johnson, Bryce and Nolyn Johnson, Zayden and Makhai Johnson, William and Waylon Jackson, and Peyton, Parker and Paisley Mosley; sister, Charlotte Zinn, as well as many extended family members and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother Ben Leonard officiating.  Interment will follow at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
