"Sonny" Leslie Strawn, Jr., 84, of Cabot, passed away September 29, 2022.  He was born August 27, 1938 in England, Arkansas to the late Leslie George Strawn, Sr. and Nannie Lorene Coullier Strawn.  Sonny proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He enjoyed fishing, duck hunting and gardening, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Faye Strawn.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of sixty-two years, Kathleen Murphy Strawn; children, Gary L Strawn (Debra) of Des Arc, Lesa Brinker of Cabot, Marty Richey (Virginia) of Jacksonville and Gina Richey of Cabot; five grandchildren, Jeremy Strawn, Amanda Buck, Brandy Prichard, Cassandra Forbes and Carter Averette; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and a sister, Becky Farmer, as well as many extended family members and friends.  Serving as pallbearers will be family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Williams Cemetery in Humphrey, Arkansas.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
