Steven Michael Black, Sr., 71, of Lonoke, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025.  He was born June 1, 1953 in Bremerton, Washington to the late Maynard Charles Earl Black and Martha Velma Nickel Black.  Mr. Black served his country in the United States Navy and was a handyman by trade. He will be remembered for many things, but being a good dad, loving husband, wonderful grandfather and friend will be among those attributes. He was also a great boss, could fix anything and was a jack of all trades.

Those left to cherish his memory and to miss him dearly are his wife, Leta Black; children, Steven Black, Jr., Stacy Black (Hollie) and Angela Downs (Jason); five grandchildren, Lani Downs, Bradley Black (Kathleen) , Emma Lou Downs, Amber Black and Brandy Kilgore; seven great-grandchildren, Steven Downs, Addiyson Black, Lyla Black, Mickey Kilgore, Dorian Kilgore, Steven Kilgore and Kane Benge; brothers, Les Black (Nancy) and Bruce Black (Sylvia), as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
