Steven James Wilson, 69, of Austin, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 28, 2022.  He was born August 5, 1953 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to the late Harold James and Lois Virginia Shunk.  Steve was a man of faith who attended new Life Church.  Most of his working career, he worked for King Soopers/Kroger.  After his retirement, he was a shuttle driver for Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs and was known for being very personable.  He enjoyed meeting and talking to new people.  Steve was always active and loved doing anything outdoors.  He enjoyed mountains, hiking, fishing, skiing, mountain biking and motorcycles.  Steve was an avid Denver sports fan.  He also enjoyed western movies, playing his guitar and singing, but his greatest joy was his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Karen; children, Kara Patton (Michael), John Shunk and James Shunk (Emily); grandchildren, Halia Robbins, Summer Patton, Zander Patton, Aiden Shunk and Kenzie Shunk; siblings, Mike Shunk (Sandi), Linda Lawson, Debbie Orman, Sandy Phipps (Brian); Janet Coffey and Rob Shunk (Kristy), as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2022 at New Life Church, 3400 W Main St., Cabot, AR  72023.  The family will have a private graveside service.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
