Suh Woon (Susie) Smith, 86, of El Paso, passed away Friday, September 17, 2021.  She was born May 5, 1935 in South Korea. She married Carroll J. "Smitty" Smith on May 5, 1960 in South Korea. In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll J. Smith in 2014; son, David Smith in 2013; son-in-law, Bobby Cummings in 2021 and twelve siblings.

Susie served her country by being an Army wife and standing by Smitty's side during his twenty years of military services and many years of retirement.

Survivors include her children, Sandra Cummings of El Paso and Michael (Rhonda) Maxhiemer of Benton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Susie would like to thank Arkansas Hospice-Searcy for their care and compassion and Angela Wilson, Susie's loved friends and caregiver, for the past five years.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 24, 2021 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Susie will be interred with her husband  at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
