Thomas Joseph Hiipakka, 69, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023. He was born September 23, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Roy and Helen Tautvidaus Hiipakka. Tom served his country in the United States Air Force as a communications/navigations technician and retired in 1997 as a Tech Sergeant after 20 years of service. He later worked as an electronics technician at the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport for 25 years. Tom was a wonderful cook who enjoyed making and sharing his gourmet meals with family and friends. He enjoyed spending time fishing, throwing the frisbee with his dog, Zorro, and   reading the Sunday paper on the back deck. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Gerald Hiipakka and sister-in-law, Diana Hiipakka.

Tom is survived by his wife, Susanne Reis Hiipakka; his son, Justin Thomas Hiipakka of Cabot; brothers, Roy Hiipakka and Richard Hiipakka and his wife, Cheryl; sisters, Karen Canavan and her husband, Ken, and Sandra Greenspan and her husband, Elliott; sisters-in-law, Gina Hiipakka and Petra Roser; brother-in-law, Bruce Przybilla and his wife, Lena along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service with military honors will be scheduled at a later date at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
