Thomas Gene Peterson, Jr., 92 of Lonoke, passed from this life Friday, August 16, 2024.  Gene was born August 23,1931 in Lonoke to the late Thomas Gene Peterson, Sr. and Orrie Belle Noland Peterson. He served from 1949 to 1953 in the United States Air Force and spent that time in the Korean War, which he spoke of often.  Gene was a machinist by trade and enjoyed repairing any kind of equipment. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patricia Stout; son, Larry Peterson and grandson, Ryan Peterson.

Gene is survived by his sister, Linda Alvis; his children, Tom Ed Peterson, Rita Adams, Robert (Karen) Peterson, Johnny Peterson and Karen (Dean) Privett; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Brownsville Cemetery in Lonoke.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
