Thomas Sherman Tygart, 73, of Cabot, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020.  He was born July 2, 1946 in Cabot to the late Jim and Jessie Dean Tygart.  Sherman was a member of Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steve Tygart and siblings, June, Darlene, Bill, Vann and Debby.

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Tygart; children, Teresa (Randy) McDonald and Becky (William) West; grandchildren, Nicole Childers, Thomas McDonald, Matthew McDonald and Rosetta West; great-grandchildren, Skyla McDonald and Isaiah Childers; siblings, Carolyn Langley, Bobby Tygart, Archie Tygart, Roy Tygart and James Tygart, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Brother John Powell officiating.  Interment will follow at Mountain Springs Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at the funeral home.  The Tygart family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the team at Lakewood Health and Rehabilitation for the great care and compassion they showed to Sherman and his family.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
