Timothy Paul Honea, 74, of Cabot, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  He was born December 15, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona to the late Joe and Lottie Ivy Tryon Honea. Tim honorably served in the United States Army.  He was a veteran with multiple tours in Vietnam, as well as other assignments including Korea and Germany.  After his retirement from the Army, Tim owned several businesses, worked as an OTR truck driver, and was very seldom found not working.  He enjoyed staying busy.  Tim loved his family and enjoyed cookouts and gatherings.  He was an excellent cook, a jack of all trades, and had an infectious humor and wit about him that was hard not to love.  Tim was always willing to help others and had a heart of gold.

Survivors include his sons, Travis Honea and Timothy P. Honea, Jr., stepdaughter, Joanna Chidister and stepsons, Danie'l Trent and Christopher Rhineberger; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a brother, Joe Honea.

Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.  Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., December 27, 2022 at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
