Obituary

Tommy Joe Cook, 77, of Cabot, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021. He was born December 3, 1943 in Cabot to the late Linwood Earl and Linnie Imo Skillern Cook. Mr. Cook loved to be outdoors, fishing and hunting. He worked as a meat cutter at the Cabot Meat Locker and worked for a time with the Lonoke County road maintenance department. His greatest passion however, was working with his brother, Lindy, in the cattle business. Calling themselves "Cook's Cattle Company", Tommy and Lindy traveled to cattle and livestock auctions all over to buy and sell cattle. Tommy drove many truckloads of cattle to auction over the years working with Lindy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Audrey, Lindy and Billy Cook.

Mr. Cook is survived by his children, Scott Cook, Tammy Cook and B.J. Cook and their mother, Linda Harrison Cook; grandson, Sebastian Cook and sister, Sandra Masterson, all of Cabot.

There will be a private family service at a later date. Arrangements are by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501)843-5816.
