Tommy James Morris, 73, of Austin, passed peacefully May 15, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer.  He was born November 10, 1951 in Brinkley to the late William Deleo and Eleanor Joyce Morehead Morris. Tommy was baptized at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved nothing more than to hunt or fish with his son-in-law, Jeff.  Tommy also loved flea markets and auctions, often bringing home treasures to refurbish in his workshop.  In addition to his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda.

He was a loving stepfather and is survived by Mary (Jeff Lynch) of Benton and Sharon Bryant of Copperas Cove, Texas, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Tommy was laid to rest alongside his wife, Linda, at Sumner Cemetery in Cabot.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
