Tracy Moore French, 65, of Cabot passed away Sunday, August 2, 2026. He was born July 6, 1961 in Dumas, Arkansas to the late A.O. French and Corynn Moore French. Tracy was a longtime director of both Home BancShares and Centennial Bank, former Chairman of Centennial Bank, and a highly respected banking leader whose service to the organization spanned more than two decades. Tracy served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Centennial Bank from 2015 through 2024 and was named Chairman of Centennial Bank in 2019. He also served as a director of Home BancShares and Centennial for more than a decade and as a member of Home's Asset/Liability Committee. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Regional President of Centennial Bank from 2009 to 2015. Tracy joined the Home BancShares organization through the acquisition of Community Bank in 2003, where he served as President, Chief Executive Officer, and a director from 2002 to 2009. He was Home BancShares Inc Chairman’s Award recipient in 2013. He became semi-retired in 2024 and worked as the Senior Executive Advisor and has since found his renewed passion for golf, golf ball hunting and bird watching. In addition to his parents, Tracy was preceded in death by his brother, David French.

Tracy is survived by his loving wife, Rita Crosby French; his children, Maggie French Collins and her husband Luke, Bradford Moore French and his wife Lindsey, Tracie French Cash and her husband Nathan, Arch Collin French and his wife Lauren; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Crosby; his siblings, Debra Smith, Arlynn Rector; his grandchildren, Logan French, Layton French, Will French, Cruz Collins, Conrad Collins, Charlee Cash and Karsyn Cash.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Cabot with interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon till 2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
