Vera Jean Brace, 61, of Cabot, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. She was born April 24, 1961 in Presque Isle, Maine to Dwight "Rudy" Rudisill and Betty Kay Emerson. Vera attended Christ Worship Center and Campground Church of Christ. She enjoyed Bible study, dancing, singing and coloring, but her greatest joy was her children and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michelle Hood (Dusty), Daniel Hayes (Amy) and Sam Dulaney (Ashley); grandchildren, Kaylee Behrens, Peyton Hood, Lillie Hood, Carter Dulaney, Marlee Dulaney, Abagail Samples, Adalee Samples, Sam Dulaney, Daniel Hayes, II, Emma Hayes and Isaac Hayes; siblings, Vonnie Gilboy, Donna Jackson, Lori Wilkins and Danny Carswell, as well as many extended family members and friends.

The family will have a memorial service for Ms. Vera from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 23, 2022 at C S & Z Volunteer Fire Department, 3590 Campground Road in Austin. Arrangements by Thomas Funeral Service, 501-941-7888.
