Virginia May Irvin Hummel, 87, of Little Rock, passed from this life Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Virginia was born Wednesday, May 27, 1936 in Capleville, Tennessee to the late Egbert Franklin and Alice Redford Hall Smith. She was a retired banker, accomplished seamstress and an extremely proud mom, grandma and GMa. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Charles Ray Irvin and John Hummel and siblings, Egbert Franklin Smith, Jr. (Bert) and Sue Alice Utley.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Kathy (Jeff) Cobb of Richmond, Virginia, Sandra (Paul) Thomas of Little Rock; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Faye Hoover of Midlothian, Virginia; Pete the Cat and numerous extended family members and friends.

Funeral services for Virginia will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2023 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home.
