William "Bill" Edward Williams, 84, of Cabot passed away Monday, November 21, 2022. He was born April 16, 1938 in Little Rock to the late Thomas Edward and Syble West Williams. Mr. Williams was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church. He retired after 46 years as Vice President of the Bank of Cabot, later known as Community Bank. Mr. Williams was a past president of the Cabot Chamber of Commerce and the Jaycees. He was a member of the Army National Guard and participated in the integration of Central High School in Little Rock. Bill was a loving husband and father and a faithful provider to his family through hard work, both professionally and in his home. He and his wife, Louise, loved to travel, but Bill's favorite place was at his home on the Little Red River in Heber Springs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was preceded in death by sisters, Sue Williams and Johnnie Knox; brother, Jimmy Campbell; brothers-in-law, Charles Knox and John Poss, and sister-in-law, Martha Watt.
Mr. Williams is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 65 years, Louise Lasiter Williams; children, Carmen Perrette of Cabot and Samuel D. Williams (Tamari) of Sherwood; grandchildren, Natalee Miller (Travis Hill) of Scott, Heather Deiana of Palm Springs, California, Kristen Perrette (Drew Wilcox) of Beebe, Meghan Jensen (Greg) of Grayslake, Illinois and Alexa Williams of Paragould; great grandchildren, Connor Hill, Alena Deiana and Pippa Jensen; brother, Vernon Campbell (Barbie) of Inverness, Florida; sister-in-law, Eileen Poss of Hot Springs and brother-in-law, Charles Watt of El Paso, as well as many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be 11:00 to 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2022, and memorial services will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Tabor Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Warrick officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843- 5816.
