William "Bill" Ellis Morris, 62 of Cabot, Arkansas, formally of Creston, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2020 after a sudden illness. Bill was the son of William and Gloria Jean (Cleckner) Morris. He was preceded in death by his brother, Scott Allen Morris and mother-in-law Gloria Norton.

Bill graduated from Norwayne High School, class of 1978, where he was active in football, wrestling and met his high school sweetheart and wife of 41 years, Dawn (Norton) Morris.

Bill was a very hard worker and always provided for his family. Over the years he had been employed at Regal Ware, Inc. (Plant Superintendent) in Ohio and Arkansas from 1979 - 2000, Mtn. Pure Water Company (Supervisor) from 2003 - 2013 and most recently at Hiland Dairy (Supervisor) from 2016 - present.

Bill was a man of integrity, honor and unshakable conviction. He had unwavering faith and loved telling others about Jesus. He was part of mission trips to Wales, Mexico, Texas and Washington DC. He taught high school youth Sunday School for many years at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where he loved to incorporate illusions into each lesson to draw teens closer to Jesus.  Bill loved to travel and his idea of a perfect day was spending time with family and grandchildren.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Dawn are his daughters, Angela (Keith) Caldwell of Cabot and Megan (Dwayne) Griffith of Ward; six grandchildren, Christian (Hannah) Crow, Evan Crow, Kayla Caldwell, William Caldwell and Rayleigh Griffith; parents, William and Jean Morris; sister, Beth Geiser and father-in-law, Bernard Norton.

A celebration of Bill's life will be planned at a later date. The family suggests donations in memory of Bill be made to Renew Community Church (Remix Youth Fund), 1122 South 2nd Street, Cabot , AR 72023.  Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
