Thomas' Obituary
Thomas Allan Thompson, 68, of Cabot, passed away June 5, 2019 in Little Rock. He was born June 18, 1950 in Breese, Illinois to Harry and Bernice Thompson. Thomas served his country in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He retired from ABF Freight Systems after serving the company his entire career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music, watching westerns and spending time with his family. Thomas was of the Lutheran faith and had a very selfless and giving heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry James Thompson.
Survivors include his children, Ginger (Joseph) Ward of Eagle Lake, Florida, Jeanie (Caleb) Walker of Cabot, and Thomas James (T.J.) Thompson of Sherwood; five grandchildren whom he loved dearly; mother, Bernice Francis White Thompson; sisters, Susan (David) Lacy of Davie, Florida and Linda (Chuck) Simms of Carlyle, Illinois; brother, James (Doris) Thompson of Carlyle, Illinois.
There will be a visitation and time of celebration at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019 at Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements by Moore’s Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816.
